Our seniors have earned their Social Security and Medicare. Furthermore, they rely on it. These programs are a promise that must be kept. People are appalled and disgusted with politicians in Washington who propose killing these programs as if doing so won’t lead to people dying.
Seniors deserve to retire with dignity — without a fear of falling into poverty. But we can go further for our moms, and dads, and grandmas, and grandpas. We can lower their prescription drug costs. We can ensure dignity within senior-centric facilities and properly educate senior-care workers. I will fight to lower prescription drug costs for seniors and punish drug companies for excessive price hikes. Our seniors cared for us, we can better care for them.
