Boebert Brings in Just $818,000 Compared to $2.6 million for Frisch During Q2 in Race for CO-3; Frisch Raises More from Colorado Than Boebert as Her ‘Angertainment’ Antics Continue
WOODY CREEK, CO – Federal Election Commission filings from Friday revealed that Western Slope businessman Adam Frisch raised more than three times as much as Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) in the race for Colorado’s third congressional district during the 2nd quarter. Frisch raised $2.6 million from 57,311 unique donors with an average contribution of $32.44. 98.46% of contributions were low dollar contributions of $100 or less. The outpouring of support for Frisch, particularly from Colorado residents and grassroots donors, comes as Boebert continues her extremist antics despite her exceptionally narrow victory of 546 votes against Frisch in 2022.
NBC News: “Rep. Lauren Boebert won by only 546 votes last year. She isn’t changing her ways.”
“A lot of Republicans have been bewildered by her,” said Dick Wadhams, the former chairman of the Colorado Republican Party from 2007 to 2011. “She has not changed her operating style, either substantively or just generally.”
“In a part of Colorado that leans conservative but is accustomed to electing pragmatic Republicans and Democrats who tend to focus on local issues like water, natural resources and agriculture, Boebert stands out in the wrong ways to a segment of voters,” Wadhams said.
“She doesn’t seem to be taking the job any more seriously than she was before. And again, that’s bad for the district and bad for the country,” Frisch said.
Colorado Public Radio: “Democratic challenger Adam Frisch is outraising Rep. Lauren Boebert nearly 3-1 for 2024 election”
“Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert pulled in more than $818,000 in fundraising during the second quarter, giving her just over $1.4 million cash on hand for her 2024 reelection. While Boebert has always been a strong fundraiser while in Congress, that number was dwarfed by her main Democratic challenger, Adam Frisch, who raised more than three times that amount. Frisch raised more than $2.6 million during the same time period, leaving him with just under $2.5 million cash on hand. While the Third Congressional District is not considered a swing district, Boebert beat Frisch by just 546 votes in 2022.”
Colorado Sun: “Lauren Boebert trails Adam Frisch in fundraising, campaign cash as they head toward 2024 rematch”
“Frisch outraised Boebert for the second quarter in a row, bringing in $2.6 million from April through June, more than three times the incumbent’s $818,000. Frisch, a former Aspen city councilman, lost to Boebert by 546 votes in November 2022 in what was the closest U.S.House contest in the nation.”
“More than one-third of Frisch’s itemized donations so far this year came from Coloradans, compared with 26% of Boebert’s donations.”
