Frisch Issues Challenge Calling for Three Debates in Race for CD3

Hurd skipped nearly all of the primary election debates and public forums

ROARING FORK VALLEY, CO – Western Slope businessman Adam Frisch, candidate for Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District, today challenged his opponent to meet him in three debates throughout the remainder of the campaign.

Frisch issued the call because of Hurd’s history of hiding from voters. Hurd skipped nearly all of the Republican primary debates or forums.

“Voters in Colorado’s 3rd District have an important decision to make, and they need to hear directly from both candidates on the issues that matter to them and their families – but my opponent has spent this entire campaign hiding from voters and refusing to answer questions from his fellow Coloradans,” Frisch said. “I’ve put more than 60,000 miles on my truck visiting communities from Pueblo to Nucla to Dinosaur, while my opponent skipped nearly all of the primary election debates and public forums. Voters deserve to hear about how Jeff Hurd and the out-of-state special interests backing him plan to raise the retirement age and slash the Social Security and Medicare benefits older Coloradans rely on. I look forward to debating these issues so the voters of CD3 can decide for themselves who should represent them in Congress.”

Frisch is calling for three debates in communities throughout CD3 to ensure voters across the district can hear about how Jeff Hurd will put the needs of big corporations and wealthy special interests above the working families of CD3.
